What merchants can expect from Soundbox at launch.
Soundbox is preparing for launch with planned pricing of ₹99 per month for Basic and ₹199 per month for Pro. Every merchant can start with a 7-day Pro trial before selecting a plan.
At launch, Soundbox is designed to work in the background on compatible Android phones, provided that payment notifications and the required permission are enabled.
The initial planned support includes major UPI payment apps such as Paytm, Google Pay (GPay), PhonePe, BharatPe, BHIM and Amazon Pay. The final compatibility list will be confirmed at launch.
The planned Bluetooth speaker feature will let merchants use a compatible external speaker for a louder alert in busy shops or market counters.
Soundbox is designed to read only the relevant notification text on the device and will not ask for your UPI PIN, passwords, bank-account details, or OTPs. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the app.
